At our library trustees meeting last week, we set our holiday schedule for the rest of the year, and it is as follows:
Weds, Nov. 11: CLOSED for Veteran’s Day.
Thurs., Nov. 26 & Fri., Nov. 27: CLOSED for Thanksgiving.
Weds., Thurs., & Fri., Dec. 24, 25, 26: CLOSED for Christmas Eve, Christmas, and Boxing Day.
Fri., Jan. 1: CLOSED for New Year’s Day. We are open New Year’s Eve (regular hours) until 5PM.
These dates have already been posted on our calendar, as well, but nobody likes to walk up to the door to find it locked, so consider this fair warning. Now you can plan your reading and movie watching pleasures accordingly!
It was also decided that due to our lack of available space, we can no longer accept book donations.
In other news, our little library web site here got kudos last week in a review in the Portsmouth Herald. They called it “very friendly,” “feature-rich,” and “must-see.” But then, if you’re here reading this now, you already knew that, right?
