The Return of the Librarian

Join us on Saturday, October 11th, for the return of former Newington librarian Duane Shaffer! He’ll be back in NH to promote his new book, Men of Granite: New Hampshire’s Soldiers in the Civil War. The book details the accounts of NH’s 35,000 soldiers who fought in the War Between the States. Duane will be at Newington’s Barnes & Noble at 1PM; when he’s done over there, he’ll come back to the Langdon Library, where he worked from 1987-2000. Check out Duane’s full book tour itinerary here. Be sure to stop by and say hi after 3PM or so; we’ll have refreshments and Duane’s books will be available for sale and signing.
