No-Contact Curbside Lending Follow Up

Here is some more information for those of you who are using this service, or wish to in the coming weeks.

1. Don’t forget you will need your library card number and appointment time to recognize your bag. Please write them down and bring them with you.

2. Some of you may see items on your receipt, or when you log into the catalog, that you have already returned to the library. There are several possible reasons for this. First, we are quarantining everything for a week before checking it in. Second, we have not checked in all of the interlibrary loan items, since that service isn’t running yet. And third, same with book group books. Those tasks are being tackled soon but in the meantime, don’t worry if they still show up on your account.

3.     Tomorrow is supposed to thundershower. The folding table with the bags will still be outside. It fits under the overhang by the main entrance. The paper bags will be in clear plastic bags to protect the items. Staff will wear a mask and gloves while putting the bags in the bags.

4.     We are getting a lot of email and voice mail right now. We will follow up as quickly as possible but it may not be the day we receive it. Don’t forget, the fastest way to reserve items is through our online catalog. The directions to do so are here .
