Games & Puzzles
Thanks to a generous donation, we have a Nintendo Switch! The system and games are only available for in-library use. Please ask Miss Brittany for help when you’d like to use the Switch. Stay tuned for program announcements such as Mario Kart tournaments and group Minecraft events.
Library of Things
Cut The Carbon
At the library we have a tool from NHSaves to help you understand your energy usage at your home. This kill a watt energy detector provides information on your fixed, variable, and phantom usage. This pack comes with instructions on how to find each output and the device to collect your data. There is also a card inside if you wish to provide feedback on this program. The library has two sets and they are located above the oversized books in the non-fiction room.
Telescope
The Telescope may be checked out for 2 weeks to Langdon Library card holders. In order to borrow the equipment there is a waiver to fill out which can be found here. The kit includes an Orion Starblast telescope, an eyepiece case, a binder containing a DVD and CD-ROM, an instruction manual, moon map, and view finder.

Ukulele Kits
Check out a ukulele kit from the library! Kits include a ukulele, carrying case, tuner, manual, kids’ beginner songbook, and a drawstring bag. This project was funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and the American Rescue Plan Act. Any cardholder who wishes to check out a ukulele kit must have an adult sign a borrower agreement. Kits can be checked out for 2 weeks and can be renewed once.
Movies
Our library offers a wide selection of DVDs and a growing collection of Blu-Rays. Our movies are organized by age level and interest for your browsing convenience. Several tall spinners in the main area of the library store 2,448 adult movie titles on DVD and 241 on Blu-Ray, as well as 547 seasons of popular TV series. Two sets of shelves in the children’s room store 566 movies rated G and PG and of interest to kids and families. We display our newest movies in our “new materials” section and on top of the movie shelves in the children’s room.
Movies circulate for one week. Most TV series circulate for two weeks. You may renew any item that does not have a waiting list. To renew an item online, click here and log on to your account in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Contact the library if you do not know your PIN.
