On Friday, May 7 Governor Sununu’s reopening NH task force will replace Safer at Home 2.0 with new universal guidelines. With NH numbers successfully dropping due to vaccinations, and continued risk-mitigating measures in place, the library will enter a new phase of reopening! Please read the following carefully:
Starting Friday, May 7:
Library doors are unlocked during open hours: No appointments needed for in-library visits. Curbside appointments remain available.
Masks remain required for staff and library users to enter the building. Hand washing or antibacterial use are required upon entering the library. Gloves are available.
Programs/ services are virtual OR conform to social distancing guidelines.
Items may be returned in both exterior AND interior drops.
Checked out items are quarantined for three days before circulating. Briefly touched items are no longer quarantined.
Meeting rooms, the kids room and public computer use (except for catalog searching) remain closed, but the copier may be used.
As always, we will let you know when we expand hours and services further. PLEASE NOTE: the library parking lot is being expanded, so you will need to park in the meeting house parking lot. The exterior book drop has been moved to that lot for the time being as well.
We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to seeing you!
